About

It’s not highbrow, it’s ledbrow.

A long time ago I had a dream of starting my own magazine called ledbrow and a zine called Easy Meat. It’s weird how dreams can slip into the ethers. And even stranger when you pull’m back again. God Bless Tim Berners-Lee and a guy named Nick, a former classmate who is just as smart at Tim Berners-Lee.

I equate blogging to Lars’ first girlfriend in Lars and the Real Girl. Blogging is my Bianca. You, reading this right now, may be made up -only existing in my head; but I sure as heck love you and yes I will even slow dance with you in my living room.

I hope as I go along I can get more specific, blog about a particular thing, bring focus back like it’s Justin Timberlake circa 2006.

But for right now, it’s scattered. I don’t comment as much on current affairs as I would like, but I share heaps on what it’s like to train for a marathon, raise money for Arthritis research, record a bi-weekly community radio show with my pirate-in-crime, Sarah Hyde,  post experiments, usually to do with radio, pop culture, community events and fundraising.

They say everyone has a spirit animal. Recently I’ve discovered mine is a cross between a bull dog and a swift fox. I have the nerves of a squirrel but I also have really cute ears (the swift fox) and playful, mischievous eyes that’ll follow you right down the street. Not in a creepy way, though, I save that for the slow dance.

Thank you so much for reading!
